We stopped by for lunch. Pizza was good. The decor also someone’s done with a lot of love. Everything is blue and white for the Mediterranean feel. The cooler, the fan, even the curtain holders were hand painted. Wow. Looked good. Of course good was quick and good
It is an italian restro, serving snacks, drinks and desserts… and drinks (only Beer and Wine)… we had ordered pizza, which was amazing in taste… the pizza base was also freshly made… must go place if you love italian food…
Whilst the food was good we found it to be very overpriced for what it was. The mixed salad was 265IR and our pasta dishes were between 550-600IR. We didn’t drink and the bill was 1534IR. The staff were quite offish and seemed keen to get rid of us but not before pointing out that service was not included, then practically snatching the money out of our hands. My advice, in the words of Public Enemy “don’t believe the hype” and go to Bella Italia instead where the food is just as good, if not better and it’s the same price but includes 3 bottles of kingfisher beer. A much better and enjoyable option all round.
They say they are authentic Italian, but it’s not even close! We ordered an onion soup and bechemel sauce veggie pasta. Soup was fine but pasta was unacceptable! Sauce too runny, no garlic flavour and to top it all, cabbage in the pasta!! Inedible. Couldn’t finish most of it. And most of all, the prices are exorbitant for this horrible food. This place is a sham.
One of the best restaurants in Khajuraho. Although the prices are a bit on the steeper side, the quality of the food and portion make up for it. The cheese and the pork products is brought in from Delhi, and is very fresh. The pizzas are cheesy and excellent. Would love to go back to the city only for the cheesiest of the pizzas! Excellent food and warm hospitality. I would strongly recommend Mediterraneo.
Not that I was having Italian 1st time in India, but the quality of food was Below average, its highly expensive, Not worth the amount you spend here, Try if you want to sit out in Sun (On their terrace) and enjoy a bit expensive beer over some Italian food. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are too obsessed to try out Italian Food.
I ordered the spag bog and it came with bacon not mince meat even though the men says mincemeat. All the food and drinks are hugely overpriced. Maybe a few years ago this place was ok but not now. The menu offers plenty but they don’t have most of the things, drinks ect. What kind of supposedly quality restaurant doesn’t replenish its stock? There are plenty of other places to eat that are cheaper and have the goods on offer. Skip this place. They charge western prices but vastly undeliver.
I had visited this place while I visited khajuraho and I must say this is one of costliest restaurant offering Italian cuisine. Food is overpriced here and not that delicious as well. Staff response is not good. Not at all value for money. We had Penne Arrabiatta with chicken added and they had priced it too Rs475 which is not at all pocket friendly and more over the pasta wasn’t even tasty and the quantity is also not sufficient enough.
